ATTORNEY GENERAL HAS KILLED JUSTICE
One Mr. John Kamara of No. 82 Lower Congo Water, Wellington, Freetown, on Wednesday 7th January, 2015 wrote an official letter to President Ernest Bai Koroma complaining that the Minister of Justice and Attorney General has killed justice and asked for his kind humanitarian help.
The letter was copied to the Ombudsman Office, the Inspector General of Police, Appeal Court Judges and President of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) respectively. Beneath is the letter we have published unedited.
BULLYING SIERRA LEONEANS CALLED ON PRESIDENT KOROMA
FROM: - John Kamara,
No. 82 Lower Congo Water,
Freetown. 7th January, 2015.
TO: - H.E. Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma,
Father of our Nation,
Office of the President,
LETTTER FOR YOUR KIND HUMANITARIAN HELP, AS THE MINISTER OF
JUSTICE AND ATTORNY GENERAL HAS KILLED JUSTICE IN THIS OUR
GRASSROOT RULLING GOVERNMENT.
I am over frustrated as your current Minister of Justice and Attorney General is presently killing justice in our country.
Your H.E, you will be surprise to know that I spent over twelve (12) years in different courts in Sierra Leone on my own property, a piece of land lying being and situated off New Freetown Waterloo Road, Wellington in the Western Area of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
Your H.E, judgment delivered on the 31st May, 2012 presided by the following brains of justice in our country Sierra Leone:-
Hon. Mrs. Justice S. Bash Taqi (JSC)
Hon. Mr. Justice N.C. Browne-Marke (J.A)
Hon. Mr. Justice E.E.C Roberts. (J.A)
Your H.E, they gave victory over Victor Alphonso Deveneaux, respondent who is a close friend of the current Minister of Justice and Attorney General who lost the appeal at the Appeal court.
Your H.E, the Hon. Minister of Justice wickedly deprived justice by instructing me that I should give his friend, Victor Alphonso Deveneaux three months. From the 1st June, 2012 up to 2015 my right over my property has not been given to me by the Hon. Minister of Justice. They further hired thugs who are threatening to kill me. I am soliciting your fatherly help for me to get my property which the court of Appeal has given me three years five months ago.
I thank you.
I am your suffering frustrated citizen,
