DRIVERS UNION PRESIDENT TO ACCOUNT FOR MILLIONS OF LEONES
Reports reaching The Spectator have confirmed that the President for Drivers Union Mr. Alpha Bah is to account for millions of Leones in connection with dues collected from various parks within the country.
The allegation further implicates senior executive officials of the Union paying lip service to the day-to-day running of the Union Secretariat which has raised an eyebrow.
Sources close to the Union Secretariat reveal to The Spectator that Mr. Alpha Bah is running the secretariat in an unpleasant manner to the dismay of drivers in the country.
The alleged indiscriminate selling of land within the Freetown Central Lorry Park at Texaco, Kissy, by Mr. Alpha Bah and cohorts continues to hinder his administration on a day-to-day basis.
Residents within the Texaco Lorry Park are reported to be totally perturbed by the arbitrary way the Drivers Union President is selling state land to foreigners with impunity, which has the propensity to ignite chaos.
