SLPP FRANKLYN ROGERS URGES MORE WATER & SANITATION IN SCHOOLS
Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) strong member, Mr. Franklyn Rogers on Wednesday 11th March 2015 urged all stakeholders including the government to provide all essential facilities on water and sanitation before the reopening of schools.
Rogers made this statement at a press conference held at solace Relaxation, Ferguson Street, Freetown.
Mr. Rogers informed that it was timely for everybody to put hands on deck in order to reach the World Health Organization benchmark.
According to him, Sierra Leone is the only country that all Sierra Leoneans can be proud of and therefore it was incumbent on all to support in the fight against Ebola.
He also underscored that if schools are to be reopened, all the necessary facilities including water, hygiene and sanitation should be put together.
Government he reiterated needs to provide water, chlorine, thermometer, adequate space, and all health and hygiene facilities in schools.
