She also thanked the Resident Minister East, Mr. Maya Moiwo Kaikai, for his tireless effort in making sure that what is due the people reach them in time.

“We are here today to offer you this donation which we received from the Kenema District Council and the Ministry as a joint effort in making sure that we support you in this Ebola time,” Madam Jeneba Alice Koroma said.

“We know that Ebola has derailed all our normal efforts. Please my people take this gift as a gesture and make good use of it for your children and those needy ones.”

According to Madam Koroma, the Ebola outbreak has affected everybody but the disable and children were hardest hit, noting that they are the people who should be supported in this national crisis.

The donated food items included bags of rice, bags of onions, bags of salt and other cooking condiments worth millions of Leones. The food items were shared among one hundred beneficiaries.
