A large number of Sierra Leoneans from the Diaspora have confided in The Spectator that the people of Sierra Leone need to commend President Koroma for facilitating sterling development projects right around the country.
According to them the massive road construction and rehabilitation in different parts of the country are things which Sierra Leoneans should be very proud of judging from the fact that the previous Government the current APC led Government succeeded failed to do so impressively.

The Managing Director of Radisson Blu Hotel, Mammy Yoko, Aberdeen, Nunes Neves has said that he would be receiving a ‘Crisis Communications’ award at the African Excellence Awards ceremony to be hosted in Cape Town, South Africa.
Addressing journalists at a recently concluded press conference the MD explained that the award came at a time when the Hotel has just clocked its second anniversary, which was on Friday 15th April.

It is incumbent upon any responsible Government that cares for the welfare of its citizenry to provide them with basic amenities such as electricity and water supply, but Sierra Leoneans are seeing a reversed situation under the current Koroma administration.

Deputy Director-General of National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT), Amara O. Kuyateh together with the Director of Operations and Acting Director of Research and Planning, Amadu F. Dainkeh and Joe Hassan Kalokoh, has ended a European familiarization tour to the United Kingdom, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Explaining the essence of their tour to Ambassador Ibrahim Sorie during a courtesy call, Mr. Kuyateh stated that they were on a familiarization and sensitization drive in preparation for the possible launch of NASSIT Diaspora Participation Pension Scheme.

Officers of the Metropolitan Department of Freetown City Council (FCC) attached to the Eastern Police Clock Tower have been accused of extorting money from hapless traders.

The unfortunate situation continues to recur much to the annoyance of traders who have complained the unholy act perpetrated by some ill-motivated workers of the Metropolitan Department.

According to the traders, the persistent harassment by council officers to extort money from them at the clock tower is criminal and disgraceful.
