One of the country's leading telecommunications companies - Airtel Sierra Leone - on Saturday 14th February, 2015, pledged support to all Ebola survivors to make a year free calls from Airtel to Airtel and the use of SMS facility.

The Managing Director of Airtel, Sudipto Chowdry, requested all Ebola survivors to visit any Airtel outlets for onward clarification on the one-in-a-million offer.

The free offer for all Ebola survivors, according to the Managing Director, will be extended depending on the cooperation of the beneficiaries.

Gibrilla Koroma, a resident of Goderich, who is also championing the street light project in his community, has said that Airtel Money has transformed the way they do business with the National Power Authority (NPA) as it makes it easy for them to be recharging their pre-paid meters which supply light to the community.

With most communities within the capital now embarking on community development projects, one of which is the installation of street lights in various places including the Goderich community.

Erstwhile Chairman of Dollar Base Development Organization, Sheka Kargbo alias Jeffu, says he is a big fan of Airtel Money which he says he now uses to recharge pre-paid meters supplying light to their community at Constituency 106.

Most communities within the city are now taking development to their respective places by way of installing community paid-for street lights with Constituency 106 being no exception.
